Privacy policy

This policy explains what data the Phuket Drive website (phuketdrive.rent) collects, why we need it and how you can control it. By using the site and submitting forms you agree to this policy.

What data we collect

• Your name, phone number and email — when you book a car, send an inquiry or leave a review.
• Booking details: car, dates, pick-up and return locations, flight number, extras, comments.
• The text and rating of your review; the email from a review is never published.
• Technical data and analytics cookies: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referral source.

Why

• To process and confirm your booking, contact you, hand over and collect the car.
• To reply to your inquiry and send you a request to leave a review.
• To protect our forms from spam and abuse.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it (anonymised statistics).

How long we keep it

Booking data is kept as long as needed for the rental and accounting, and no longer than 3 years after it ends. Inquiries without a booking — up to 1 year. Analytics data is stored by the analytics services under their own rules (usually up to 26 months).

Who we share it with

• Google (Google Analytics, Google Maps) and Yandex (Yandex Metrica) — anonymised visit statistics and the map on the contacts page.
• Our email service — to send booking emails.
• Cloudflare — protecting forms from bots.
• The car owner and the insurance company — only the data needed for the rental contract or an insurance claim.

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Cookies

The site uses cookies required for it to work and analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — the site will keep working, but no statistics about your visit will be collected.

Your rights and data deletion

You can request a copy of your data, correct it or ask us to delete it. Email info@phuketdrive.com or message us on WhatsApp — we will reply within 30 days. Data we are legally required to keep is deleted when that period ends.
